Estrellita Nable Miranda was born in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, where she grew up with seven siblings under the care of her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro and Rosita Nable. Close relatives and friends called her Lita. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1977. In 1978, at age 23, she married her husband, Engr. Jerry Nable Miranda and their first child, Raquel Miranda Ignacio, was born in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. A year after, their second child was born, a son, TJ Miranda. Few years later, in 1983, another son was born, Ace Miranda. After eight years of living happily in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Lita and her family moved to Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. Two years thereafter, the family eventually settled in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro where Lita and her husband Jerry co-founded the Santo Niño Chaplaincy that resulted in the building of its chapel. With her unconditional devotion to her faith, Lita and her husband Jerry became lifetime members of Couples For Christ and the Charismatic Community. Lita, with her husband Jerry, daughter Raquel, and third child, Ace made Dasmarinas, Cavite their beloved home from 2002 through 2013. In January 2013, Lita moved to California to reunite with her husband and her second child, TJ and daughter-in-law, Gerlyn. In 2018, her daughter, Raquel, reunited with her in San Diego, California. Lita continued to be a dedicated member of her community churches regardless of religious denomination. She was an active member of Missionary Families of Christ, formerly Couples For Christ, a catholic organization worldwide. Additionally, she regularly attended Jesus is Lord church with her daughter and son-in-law, Edwin Ignacio. Her seven years at home away from home were made extra special when her grandson, Jax, was born, with whom she visited in the Philippines twice. Thereafter, “Lolay” Lita and Jax, his dad, Ace, and mom Allen, would virtually communicate on a daily basis which undoubtedly gave unsurpassed happiness to “Lolay” (grandma) Lita.
Lita lived a life of great faith in God and in His likeness. She was an angel on Earth who spread unconditional love to all who walk this earthly place. She embodied humility, positivity, and wore an everlasting smile on her face. She was and still is loved by many and she will be truly missed.
